Open Spaces
Burberry asked us to explore ways they could use immersive interfaces to engage with their customers as part of a larger innovation exploration. My creative team developed a concept that was linked to Burberry’s core brand story: enabling exploration. We built out a catwalk in the midlands of England, enabling users to curate their own fashion show by selecting outfits, models, lighting and weather. Our immersive team built the entire experience in Unreal Engine, using garment components from Burberry’s design studio. This required inventing new techniques, tailoring 3D clothing onto metahumans. Finally we used a Leap Motion controller to help the user control the camera and views.
