Asimbonanga
To celebrate the birthday of Nelson Mandela, my creative partner and I developed a collaboration with music icon Johnny Clegg. We wanted to use his iconic struggle song, Asimbonanga (translation “We have not seen him”) and make it relevant again for the South Africa of 2014 - in which we wanted to say: We can no longer see his legacy. I love the way it turned out.
